The Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Statistics stated that the purpose of establishing a statistical monitoring system for ice and snow economy is to find out the relevant basic data and provide decision-making reference for better promoting the development of the ice and snow economy. According to reports, in order to give full play to the supporting role of statistical data, the Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Statistics has comprehensively collected and sorted out data related to the ice and snow economy departments with the coordination and cooperation of taxation, culture and tourism, sports, transportation, agriculture and rural areas, industry and information technology. On this basis, a typical survey was conducted on more than 200 key tourism projects in seven major categories, including major scenic spots, shopping districts, ice and snow amusement parks, ski resorts, museums, cultural and art museums, morning and night markets, involving nearly 40,000 business entities. Preliminary calculation results show that Heilongjiang’s ice and snow economy has developed strongly, and “cold resources” continue to transform into a “hot economy”, and has initially shown a trend from “one quarter red” to “season red”, “one geothermal heat” to “the whole province hot”, and has a more prominent driving role in related industries and provides stable support for economic development.
