China has unveiled a plan to accelerate the strengthening of its capacities in the field of agriculture for the period 2024 -2035.
The plan, published by the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and the Council for State Affairs, sets the main objective of making significant progress in strengthening the country’s capacities in the field of agriculture by 2027.
It also targets substantial advances in rural revitalization and a new stage of modernization of agriculture and rural areas by 2027.
By 2035, the plan provides decisive progress in global rural revitalization, the fundamental realization of the modernization of agriculture and the establishment of modern living conditions in rural areas.
According to this plan, China aims to fully establish its agricultural power by the middle of the century. The country seeks to guarantee a stable and solid supply, to achieve autonomy in terms of scientific and technological innovation, to build solid infrastructure and to develop effective and well -integrated rural industrial chains.
The plan also plans to make the campaigns beautiful, to improve the well-being of farmers, to strengthen the international competitiveness of agriculture, to carry out a complete urban integration and a global rural revitalization, and to completely modernize agriculture and rural areas by the middle of the century.
To achieve these objectives, the plan defines key tasks such as the guarantee of a more stable and more solid supply, the promotion of innovation in science, technology and agricultural equipment.
The plan calls to improve the system of exploitation of modern agriculture, to promote a better integration of small farmers in modern agricultural practices and to modernize the entire chain of the agricultural industry.
Tasks also include a deepening of international cooperation in the agricultural field, promoting the construction of a beautiful and harmonious campaign where life and work, and improving the standard of living in rural areas.
