On Monday, the number of foreigners passing through the entry points of Beijing in 2025 exceeded one million, an increase of 44% in annual shift, thanks to visa exemption policies, including transit without visa of 240 hours, according to official data.
This growth trend is expected to increase with the arrival of the 2025 summer summer and autumn season, which will extend from March 30 to October 25.
The 240 -hour transit without visa policy implemented on December 17 has already benefited more than 310,000 foreign travelers in the space of 100 days, representing an increase of 150% compared to the period preceding its application.
Beijing border authorities have also deployed innovative measures to improve the efficiency of border controls, in order to ensure a fluid and secure border crossing for travelers.
