Next year will mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations and the world victory over fascism, Xi said.
China and Russia, major countries that are permanent members of the UN Security Council, should deepen their overall strategic coordination, strengthen their communication and coordination within multilateral frameworks such as the UN and the Cooperation Organization of Shanghai, promote a correct view of the history of World War II, firmly uphold the international system centered on the UN, and jointly safeguard global strategic stability, international fairness and justice, Xi said.
