The 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) kicked off Sunday in Xiamen, east China’s Fujian Province.
Covering some 120,000 square metres, the four-day event attracts visitors from 119 countries and regions, about 80 percent of which are Belt and Road Initiative partner countries.
This year’s CIFIT highlights digital economy, new energy and green innovation, and is expected to serve as a platform for more than 80 investment events and roadshow activities.
Initially launched in 1997, CIFIT, organized by the Ministry of Commerce, has become an important platform for stimulating investment and facilitating global development.
