He made the remarks on Saturday in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 2024 World Congress of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property after reading President Xi Jinping’s congratulatory letter to the congress.
Mr. Zhang, also a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said President Xi’s letter fully reflects the great importance China attaches to intellectual property-related work.
