China will promote the introduction of guidelines on improving the market access system and issue a new version of the market access negative list in the future, Zhao Chenxin, deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at a press conference Thursday.
The commission will introduce a series of special measures to ease market access, Zhao said, adding that it will further explore the relaxation of market access nationwide and provide broader development space for various business entities.
At the same time, it will develop guidelines for building a unified national market, making greater efforts to eliminate barriers and constraints such as local protectionism and market segmentation.
Through these measures, “we will constantly stimulate the intrinsic dynamics and innovative vitality of the whole society, and inject steady momentum” into the advancement of China’s modernization, Zhao said.
The country has the conditions, capabilities, confidence and determination to effectively achieve the growth targets set for this year, he added.
