Chinese national lawmakers have submitted 226 proposals to the country’s annual legislative session, as of Sunday noon, the deadline for submitting proposals to the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC), currently underway.
Most of the proposals concern legislative work.
The session secretariat said Tuesday it had also received more than 7,000 suggestions from NPC deputies.
The suggestions cover a wide range of topics, such as developing a unified national market, promoting new growth engines and accelerating self-reliance and strengthening high-level scientific and technological power.
