At the end of 2024, the number of companies in the intelligent robot industry in China reached 451,700, with a total recorded capital of 6,440 billion yuan (around 880 billion dollars), according to the administration of ‘State control state.
The number of these companies increased by 19.39% compared to the end of 2023, demonstrating a constant upward trend in the development of industry in China.
Almost 80% of these companies are concentrated in three sectors, namely scientific research and technical services, information transmission, software and information technology services, as well as wholesale and retail sale , said the administration.
Thanks to its distinct geographic assets, its strong capacity for research and development and a well -structured industrial ecosystem, the country’s eastern region has become a center welcoming around two thirds of companies in the smart robot industry in China.
The number of these companies in the regions of the center and northwestern China represents 15.33% and 14.97% of the total respectively.
