A train dedicated to film tourism and baptized “Yichun Hao” recently left the city of Harbin, capital of the Chinese province of Heilongjiang (northeast), as part of the “year of cinematographic consumption in China”.

This train is part of the “Film + Tourist Train” project jointly created by the national film administration and the China Railway Group. The project aims to actively develop new tourist consumption scenarios and meet the new population expectations in terms of improving the quality of travel.

With on board more than 100 people from Singapore, Malaysia and other countries wishing to discover the wonderful journey of Chinese cinema, the train connected Harbin, Yichun and other well -known attractions, taking tourists to filming sites.

The route allows foreign tourists to discover the cultural charm of Chinese films during their trip, notably by presenting films, songs, and posters and images of film.

This year marks the 120th anniversary of Chinese cinema. The “year of cinematographic consumption in China” was launched last week in Beijing, with the aim of exploiting the cultural attraction of the seventh art in order to stimulate consumption and support economic growth.
