More than 90 percent of foreign-invested enterprises in China are satisfied with the country’s business environment, according to a survey released Thursday.
The survey, conducted in the third quarter of this year among more than 400 foreign companies, also found that about 50 percent of the companies surveyed found the Chinese market more attractive, noted Sun Xiao, spokesperson for the China Council for promotion of international trade.
More than 60 percent of U.S. companies surveyed said the Chinese market’s attractiveness for foreign investment had strengthened, up 15.26 percentage points quarter-on-quarter, Sun said.
According to him, about 20 percent of foreign companies surveyed plan to increase their investments in China, an increase of 2.07 percentage points quarter-on-quarter.
Nearly 54.76% of foreign companies surveyed choose to increase their investments in China by expanding their production lines or pursuing digital transformation.
