Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, invited the joints of foreign leaders at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (OCS) to make a cruise on the Haihe river on Monday afternoon on the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization through the port city of Tianjin.
Ms. Peng warmly welcomed the guests, shaking her hand before joining them for a group photo. On the platform, children sang happily and waved Chinese and foreign flags to welcome them.

Then, Ms. Peng joined the guests for a cruise on the river, during which they discovered the history and development of the city.
Describing Tianjin as a city combining a rich historical heritage and a modern charm, Ms. Peng said that the Haihe river had witnessed the development of Tianjin and mutual exchanges and learning between various cultures. She added that she was delighted to spend an unforgettable moment with the guests.
While enjoying the view of the river, they enjoyed tea and listened to a set of Sanxian, a traditional Chinese instrument with three strings. They also posed for a group photo on the bridge. The guests expressed their admiration for refined traditional Chinese culture and strongly praised the remarkable progress made in the promotion of Chinese modernization.
Among the guests were the wives of President Ouzbek Chavkat Mirzioii, Mongol President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, President Azerbaijana Ilham Aliyev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pachinian, Prime Minister Nepalese Kp Sharma Oli Moustafa Madbouli and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, as well as the daughter of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
