The 14th National Committee of the Political Consultative Conference of the Chinese People (CCPPC), the national political advisory body of China, closed the tenth session of its permanent committee on Sunday in Beijing.
Wang Huning, member of the permanent committee of the political bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and president of the CCPPC National Committee, chaired the closing meeting and delivered a speech.
He stressed that, throughout the past year, the CCPPC National Committee had devoted itself to the central tasks of the party and the country, making new progress throughout its work.
Mr. Wang called on the political advisory body to make contributions in 2025 to promote Chinese modernization and achieve the objectives and tasks set in the 14th five -year plan with high quality.
He also insisted on efforts to guarantee the good hold of the third session of the 14th National Committee of the CCPPC.
During this meeting, several documents were adopted, in particular the order of agenda and the annual session calendar, an activity report of the permanent committee of the 14th National Committee of the CCPPC, as well as a report on the processing of proposals submitted by political advisers since the second session of the 14th National Committee of the CCPPC.
These documents will be submitted to the exam during the third session of the 14th National Committee of the CCPPC.
