Police said at a press conference that a gunman fired a gun on the Florida State University campus at midday that day and multiple people were shot. The school police responded immediately, subdued and arrested the gunman. The Gunner was a student of the university, and neither of the two deceased were students of the university. Five people were sent to the hospital for gunshot wounds, and the gunman was also taken to the hospital for injuries.
