Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Hanoi on Monday to make a state visit to Vietnam.
In a written statement published on his arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, he said he was very happy to start his fourth state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party (PCV) to Lam and Vietnamese President Luong Cuong.
On behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese government and the people, Mr. Xi sent his sincere greetings and his best wishes to the Brother PCV, the Government and the People of Vietnam.
Note that this year marked the 95th anniversary of the PCV foundation, the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Foundation and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South of the country, the Chinese President recalled that the PCV had united and directed the Vietnamese people in the unshakable pursuit of the achievement of the two objectives set for the centenary of the party and the country, respectively.
Xi added that the Chinese party was pleased to note that the standard of living in Vietnam had regularly improved, that the global and regional influence of Vietnam had continued to grow and that the country had taken notable progress in the progress of its socialist industrialization and its momentum of modernization.
He expressed his conviction that under the resolved direction of the central committee of the PCV led by To Lam, Vietnam will surely continue the socialist path adapted to its national conditions, will fulfill the tasks defined by the 13th National Congress of the PCV, will prepare the ground for the 14th National Congress and will continue to open new paths for the development of its party and the country.
