The Chinese President, Xi Jinping, addressed his wishes for spring festival to all the military in the country during his inspection tour on Friday in the North Zone of the People’s Liberation Army (APL) in China .
Mr. XI, also Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCC) and president of the Central Military Commission (CMC), addressed his festive wishes to all the commanders and combatants of the APL and the People’s People’s Police of China, civil staff within the army, as well as to members of the militia and the reserve forces, on behalf of the central committee of the CCP and the CMC.
The Spring Day, or the Chinese New Year, fell on January 29 this year.
Friday morning, Mr. XI met officers and soldiers from the North APL command area. He then spoke to the representatives of the army troops by video connection.
Troops officers and soldiers informed, in turn, Mr. XI of their combat preparations and the execution of their mission. Mr. XI has fully recognized their work.
Xi said that troops had to strengthen the execution of their tasks of combat preparations in order to effectively respond to any urgency, and to safeguard national security and social stability during the party.
