Xi Jinping conducts inspection in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, China

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, inspected Lanzhou, capital of northwest China’s Gansu Province, on Wednesday afternoon.

During his inspection in the city, Xi visited a residential area and a section of the Yellow River, where he learned about local measures to improve public services, enhance people’s well-being, strengthen overall maintenance of public order, and promote ecological conservation in the Yellow River basin.

Lanzhou, a city built along the banks of the Yellow River, is located in the upper reaches of the river.
