Hong Zuxing, chairman of the Hong Kong Film Association, attributed the popularity of “Nezha 2” in Hong Kong to two major factors: one is that the quality of the movie itself is very good; the other is that “Nezha 2” is jointly released by four major publishers in Hong Kong. It is highly valued by publishers and theaters, and it will promote it before it is released.
Ding Kai, general manager of Yindu Institution, said bluntly that the market response of “Nezha 2” was beyond expectations. “The biggest inspiration this time is that we will pay more attention to excellent mainland movies in the future and introduce excellent mainland movies to Hong Kong.”
