A press center for the annual sessions of the legislative body and the political advisory body of China, known as “two sessions”, opened its doors on Thursday at the Media Center Hotel in Beijing.
The third session of the 14th National People’s Assembly and the third session of the 14th National Committee of the Political Advisory Conference of the Chinese People will open on March 5 and 4 respectively.
More than 3,000 journalists have registered to cover the two sessions of this year, which marks the last year of the 14th five-year plan of China (2021-2025). Among them, more than 1,000 come from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign countries.
The number of journalists increased compared to last year.
The Press Center will host a series of press and event conferences, during which the heads of the Central Government Departments will tackle significant national and international issues.
