The third session of the 14th National Committee of the Political Consultative Conference of the Chinese People (CCPPC), the supreme political advisory body of China, began its closing meeting on Monday morning.
The Chinese president, Xi Jinping, and other leaders attended the meeting at the Grand Palais du Peuple, in Beijing.
A resolution on a work report by the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the CCPPC, a resolution concerning a report on the way in which the proposals of political advisers have been processed since the previous annual session, a report on the examination of new proposals and a political resolution on the third session of the 14th National Committee of the CCPPC were approved at the meeting.
Wang Huning, president of the National Committee of the CCPPC, delivered a speech at the meeting.
