The 2025 annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia opened Thursday in Boao, in the Chinese province of Hainan (South).
Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Ding Xuexiang, also a member of the Permanent Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, attended the opening ceremony.
Founded in 2001, the Boao forum for Asia is a non -profit international non -governmental organization committed to promoting regional economic integration and bringing the Asian countries closer to their development objectives. From March 25 to 28, this year’s conference is held under the theme “Asia in a changing world: towards a shared future”.
By addressing the opening ceremony, Mr. Ding underlined the significant progress made in the construction of a community of Asian shared future in the last decade.
China and ASEAN have established a global strategic partnership, and the regional global economic partnership has entered into force, said the Deputy Prime Minister.
He added that regional economic integration had been reinforced and that the share of Asia in the world economy has continued to increase. he added.
Mr. Ding has also emphasized instability and growing uncertainties to which the world is reinforced, calling for joint efforts to meet global challenges, build an Asian community and build a better future for Asia and the world.
