The Taxkorgan Tadjik autonomous district, in the Ouïgoure autonomous region of Xinjiang (northwest of China), has a rich intangible heritage. Around the spring equinox, the fourth of the 24 solar periods of the Chinese lunar calendar, which falls this year on March 20, the district highlights its landscapes and its traditional ethnic culture through shows highlighting its heritage, as well as cultural and sporting activities. This initiative aims to attract visitors and energize spring tourism.
