According to the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, as of 17:00 local time on March 31, a strong earthquake in Myanmar has killed three Chinese citizens and injured 14 people. The wounded are stepping up treatment.
In an exclusive interview with a reporter from the Central Taiwan Taiwan, the Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar said that the rescue work is currently facing difficulties such as constant aftershocks, interruption of traffic and communication facilities, and continuous high temperatures. The embassy and consulate will step up coordination and strive to deliver more materials to the victims.
