The number of national intellectual property protection centers in China is now 77 in 29 provincial level regions. This increase follows the recent approval granted to the Ouïgoure autonomous region of Xinjiang (northwest) for the construction of such a center, we recently learned from the national intellectual property administration of China.
The future Xinjiang protection center will be dedicated to rapid and coordinated intellectual property for the new energy and high -end equipment sectors, said an administration official.
Once operational, he will work in synergy with the Karamay city protection center in the same region, in order to fully mobilize the resources of the integrated service platform for the protection of intellectual property. Their cooperation will help strengthen integration between innovation and industrial chain chain, and to create an environment conducive to innovation and business, while accelerating the modernization of traditional industries and developing new quality productive forces in the region, he added.
