The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened on November 5 in Shanghai, east China. This year, an “old friend” of the CIIE, Schneider Electric, returns for the seventh time to the city bringing its new products. Its exhibition area attracted many visitors and presents innovative technologies and solutions for new quality productive forces.
Focusing on technological innovation in two major areas, namely “future industry” and “green energy management”, the company provides digital solutions covering the entire life cycle of industry, new power system solutions covering “source, grid, charge and storage”, and a “new quality service system” covering the entire life cycle of business processes, combined to AI technology, in order to help all large companies in a comprehensive manner.
China is now Schneider Electric’s second largest global market (by country) and is a key base of the supply chain. The energy sector’s shift toward green and sustainable development has created unique market opportunities as part of China’s strategic transformation.
The French giant considers China an essential market and a center of innovation. Many major products are now developed there. In Shanghai alone, the company’s research and development (R&D) center has more than 2,000 employees.
According to Yin Zheng, executive vice president of the company, Schneider Electric is confident in its development in China, and its participation in the CIIE for the seventh time reflects the company’s firm commitment to deepening its presence in China.
In the future, the company will continue to strengthen R&D and innovation, share transformation experience with more Chinese partners, as well as work together to develop new quality productive forces and contribute to a high-quality development, Yin noted.
