The China-Eurasie 2025 goods trade fair opened its doors on Thursday in Urumqi, in the Ouïgoure autonomous region of Xinjiang (northwest), attracting more than 2,800 companies and delegates from 50 countries and regions in order to deepen cooperation across Eurasia, the organizers said.
This year’s edition is the most important to date. Among the participants are government officials, diplomats and commercial associations in Central Asia, the African Union (AU), ASEAN and elsewhere. AU members such as Ethiopia, Zambia, Comoros and Senegal, participate in particular for the first time in the Fair, which testifies to an increased global commitment.
Extending over 140,000 square meters of interior and exterior space, the fair has key sectors such as new energies, advanced manufacturing, textiles and food processing. Heavy machines dominate external exhibitions, while interior halls highlight innovations in artificial intelligence and low -altitude economy.
Fu Yunyan, director of the Bureau des Affaires for the Xinjiang International Exhibition, noted “many strengths”, including areas dedicated to advanced technologies and more than 20 product launches. The five -day event will host more than 60 commerce and investment sessions focused on industrial connection and the promotion of projects.
Pillar of the Exhibition of the China-Eurasie exhibition, the event, which is in its fifth edition, aims to accelerate the opening and development of the Xinjiang.
