A large commemorative ceremony began on Wednesday morning on Tian’anmen square in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japanese assault and the anti -fascist world war.
In the middle of the cannon shots, the guard of honor has escorted the national flag from the monument to the heroes of the people, located in the center of the square, towards the north, to the mast.
During the lifting of the flag, the whole assembly joined the song of the national anthem, the volunteer march, composed during the war.
Wednesday commemorations will include a military parade.
