The Chinese and American delegations have initiated constructive, in -depth and frank communication, based on mutual respect and the equal consultation, concerning economic and commercial subjects of mutual interest, including Tiktok, told Madrid, Spain, a senior Chinese official on Monday.

During the meeting, the two parties had frank and in -depth discussions on Tiktok and the concerns of the Chinese part on this subject. They have reached elementary framework consensus on solving problems related to Tiktok through cooperation, on the reduction of obstacles to investments and on the promotion of economic and commercial cooperation, said Mr. LI.
The two parties will maintain close communication, will continue to discuss the details of the relevant final documents, and will initiate their respective national approval procedures, Li added.
