Chinese President Xi Jinping sent video congratulations to the Wuzhen Summit of the World Internet Conference 2024, which opened in Wuzhen, east China’s Zhejiang Province, on Wednesday.
Noting that a new wave of technological revolution and industrial transformation is advancing rapidly, Xi urged efforts to embrace digital, Internet-based and intelligent development trends.
He called for accelerating innovative, secure and inclusive growth in cyberspace and jointly working towards a brighter digital future.
China is willing to work with countries around the world to seize the historic initiative of the information revolution and jointly build a community with a shared future in cyberspace, so as to make the Internet more beneficial to people and the world, he added.
