China’s value -added industrial production, an important economic indicator, increased by 5.9% in annual slip in the first two months of 2025, according to data published Monday by the Statistics State Bureau.
In February alone, industrial production increased by 0.51% compared to January.
Industrial production measures the activity of major companies whose main annual turnover is at least 20 million yuan (around $ 2.79 million).
