The Russian edition of the first volume of “China’s Governance under the Leadership of Xi Jinping” was presented on Wednesday at the 29th International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg.
More than a hundred representatives from media, think tanks and government authorities from China, Russia and other countries attended the launch ceremony.
During the ceremony, Chairman of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua, Director General of TASS News Agency Andrey Kondrashov and Consul General of China in St. Petersburg Luo Zhanhui jointly unveiled the new book.
Participants at the event pointed out that this book is a documentary work presenting an overview of the great practices and remarkable achievements of Chinese governance in the new era. Rich in detailed case studies, objective perspectives and systematic analyses, it comprehensively documents China’s arduous journey to overcome difficulties and move forward into the new era.
According to the participants, the Russian edition of this work is expected to serve as a reliable and living reference for people from all walks of life in Russia who seek to better understand how China has achieved its development and the effectiveness of its governance, while building solid bridges for deeper China-Russia cultural exchanges.
Compiled by Xinhua News Agency and published by Xinhua Publishing House for global distribution, the first volume of “China’s Governance under Xi Jinping” is now available in Chinese, English, Arabic, Russian and other languages.
